Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 22, 2026
This policy describes exactly which cookies and browser storage joingrowthfoundry.com uses, what the consent banner does, and how you can change your choice at any time. It is based on a technical audit of the production website, not on a generic template: everything listed here exists, and nothing that exists is missing from it.
1. What cookies and storage are
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Browsers also offer localStorage, a small key-value store that stays on your device and, unlike cookies, is never transmitted with requests. Both can be used for useful things (remembering a choice) or invasive things (tracking you across sites). This site uses the first kind only, and in the smallest possible amount.
2. What this site actually uses
This website sets no cookies at all — first-party or third-party. It uses no analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, no embedded social media widgets, no external fonts and no third-party measurement of any kind. Nothing on this site reports your visit to anyone.
The only browser storage used is a single first-party localStorage entry that remembers your cookie banner choice, described in the table below. It appears only after you interact with the banner, contains no identifier and cannot track you: it never leaves your device.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gf_consent | localStorage (first-party) | Records your consent choice (accepted or rejected, per category) so the banner does not reappear on every visit. | 12 months, then the banner asks again | Growth Foundry (this website). Never transmitted; readable only by this site in your browser. |
3. The consent banner
On your first visit, a discreet banner at the bottom of the page offers three options: Accept, Reject, and Preferences.
Accept stores your consent for all categories. Reject stores a refusal of everything non-essential. Preferences opens a panel with one toggle per category: strictly necessary storage (always on, because the site cannot remember your choice without it) and analytics (off by default — and currently unused: this site has no analytics, so the toggle exists only to keep your choice on record if analytics were ever added).
Whatever you choose, browsing continues normally: no content is blocked and no functionality is lost, because this site does not depend on any non-essential technology.
4. How to change or delete your choice
You can reopen the preferences panel at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, and change or withdraw your choice with immediate effect.
You can also delete the stored choice directly: clear this site's data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy, "Clear browsing data" or "Cookies and site data"). On your next visit the banner will simply ask again.
Because the choice is stored per browser and per device, you will see the banner once on each browser or device you use.
5. Strictly necessary infrastructure
Independently of the banner, our web server keeps standard access and security logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page). These are server-side records required to operate and protect any website; they are not cookies, they store nothing on your device, and they are covered by our Privacy Policy.
6. If this site ever adds non-essential technology
If analytics or any other non-essential technology is added in the future, this policy will be updated first with a complete table (name, provider, purpose, duration, category), the corresponding toggle in the preferences panel will become functional, and nothing non-essential will run before you have expressly consented through the banner.
